1. Initiate information request
Client submits request by logging into personalized user account. The information request lists specific questions or summary statement of area of interest.
2. Matching client with expert
An assigned analyst matches specialists’ experience to the client’s specific request, by searching our existing network to identify relevant individuals already registered. In the event the search does not yield a suitable match, the analyst informs the client and a plan to custom recruit is agreed upon.
3. Invitations sent to experts
HTM Connect analyst sends out consultation invites to shortlisted experts. The invite includes the list of client questions/summary statement, but identity of client is not disclosed. Experts have 48 hours to accept or decline invitation. To improve response time, the analyst makes follow up phone calls a few hours after sending out the invite.
4. Expert selection
HTM Connect analyst sends the client anonymous expert profiles for final review and selection. The profiles detail experts’ areas of experience and professional work history. The client selects the expert for the assignment and proposes a few dates and/or time frames for the consultation. HTM Connect analyst transfers client and expert contact details and confirms consultation date (target is to have the consultation within 5 business days).
Client and expert participate in the consultation, typically discussing market trends and industry drivers. Company specific discussions are strictly prohibited (see terms and conditions). Most of our consultations are telephone-based, but we also facilitate face-to-face meetings.
6. Consultation complete
Both client and expert provide feedback (both duration and quality of consultation) via personalized log in accounts. HTM Connect analyst verifies submissions and processes payment for the expert (payment to be made within 15 business days following receipt of feedback).
